A very special Oolong tea, blended with ginseng root powder and licorice. Licorice is a very sweet, moist, soothing herb that detoxifies and protects the liver and is also a powerful anti-inflammatiry being used in conditions as varied as artharitis and mouth ulcers. Licorice can be chewed on to relieve sore throats. Smooth taste with pleasant mellowness. The sweetness of the licorice masks the slight bitterness of the ginseng.
Tea Brewing Tips:
Rinse the tea pot with hot water to warm the vessel. Add approximately 2 grams of tea leaves per cup. Allow the boiling water to cool between 155-165 degrees and pour into the teapot. Never use boiling water as it will cook the leaves. . Let the tea sit for 20 seconds, then drain out the water and cover the leaves with enough water for a cup or pot. Steep for 1 to 2 minutes, and pour into the cup through a strainer. You can use the leaves for multiple infusions, by following the same process.
