Grade: Silken Green Tea - A popular variety of Green Tea originally manufactured in Japan having a whole lot of well-known health benefits. This tea with a silky texture is a hot favourite and can also be consumed chilled. The tea has a lovely grassy fragrance reminiscent of a late summer hay meadow, with a slight astringency. The infusion has a clear bright yellowish green colour. Brought to you by Golden Tips - Darjeeling's oldest name in quality teas since 1933.

Tea Brewing Tips:
Rinse the tea pot with hot water to warm the vessel. Add approximately 2 grams of tea leaves per cup. Allow the boiling water to cool between 155-165 degrees and pour into the teapot. Never use boiling water as it will cook the leaves. . Let the tea sit for 20 seconds, then drain out the water and cover the leaves with enough water for a cup or pot. Steep for 1 to 2 minutes, and pour into the cup through a strainer. You can use the leaves for multiple infusions, by following the same process.

Of course, this has lovely grass fragrance, but not up to the benchmark of quality. However, you can consume the product in both hot and chilled way. | |
