My intial thoughts are that this is clearly a 2nd flush tea picked in Spring.
The dried leaf smells like fudge. The wet leaf smells of chocolate.
The cold brew taste spicy, but sweet. Fresh cacao is what I was able to tease out.
The hot brew has coffee notes & taste like like an autumn flush without the forest floor taste & no bitterness (unless you over brew).
Overall, an interesting tea. Not as floral as a 1st flush, not as spicy as a 2nd flush & not as autumn as an autumn flush. A truly distinct tea which lies between all 3
